Dayana J Carrera-Saenz serves as the liaison between our labs and our customers, typically through email, phone, or in person inquiries. She intakes samples that arrive and inputs them into our in-house database (CySeed) and delivers them to the lab. She mentors the student workers and gives them practical real world working skills. She helps guests who arrive at SSC find their host and help them set up when needed. She also provides a friendly smile to all who arrive. Her accomplishments include managing different platforms (CySeed, Dashboard, Outlook, Weblocker) on a consistent basis to deliver reliable and timely friendly service. This includes having to readily change current processes and learn new ones within the day. She also worked on beta testing for our in-house database program CySeed to help release the production of CySeed and is part of the TEAM CYtation Award
