Seed Science Center Director Manjit Misra and Global Program Leader Dileepkumar Guntuku represented Iowa State University at a "Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony" held October 9, 2017, in Thangadancha Village, located in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, India.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu discussed details of the Mega Seed Park that ISU and Andhra Pradesh are partnering to establish in the Kurnool district at the event. More than 20,000 farmers attended the ceremony.
