Welcome to the Iowa State Seed Laboratory!

Big enough to be your one-stop testing lab, but small enough to give customers personal attention! We are an ISO 9001:2000 registered lab which offers traditional testing methods (purity, germination, vigor, varietal purity) and also genetic purity/adventitious presence and seed health testing (federally certified to run testing on all phytosanitary requests). We conduct tests on over 300 plant species (“if it grows from seed, we can test it”).
